It is a great pleasure to blog on the topic. I will like to share you more about the impacts of Hinduism and . First I will focus on the features of Hinduism. Hinduism was the first religion to appear in India. However, it is weird to notice that the historians still do not know how or when Hinduism started.
They are:
- the worship of many gods
The most important gods are Brahma(the Creator), Vishnu(the preserver) and Shiva(the Destroyer) .
- the belief of non-violence
Hinduism teaches that all life is sacred. Therefore, human beings and animals should not be killed. Some animals, such as the cow, are especially sacred.
- the belief in reincarnation
The Hindus believe that when a person dies, his soul is reborn into a new body. This process of rebirth is called reincarnation.
Now I will like to emphasise more on reincarnation.
- If a person does good deeds, he will reborn into a body of a higher class.
- If a person does bad deeds, he will reborn into a body of a lower class.
- A soul can be freed from the cycle of rebirth if enough good deeds are done in several lives.
- Will eventually join Brahma
Kings were considered divine in Hinduism. The people treated their kings like gods. For your information, Hinduism is at least 3000 years old and is the oldest religion in India. Hinduism developed slowly over many centuries through mixing of the beliefs of the Aryans and the Indus people.
Hinduism was such an important religion in ancient India that it affected almost every aspect of life. The Hindus believe in the process of reincarnation. It was also believed that as divine rulers, Indian kings had to make sure that everyone followed the rules of the caste system.
